  5. MobiPocket Reader says "SD Card not detected"

    Hi.

I understand this is not the MobiPocket Reader forums, but the few questions about this problem over there have never been answered, so I am hoping someone here has maybe some experience with it.

    My problem is the following:

After installing Mobipocket Reader (an ebook reader for .mobi files), running it gives me the error "SD Card is not detected". It does start, but the error shows up, then I get a screen with "No book" and that's it. I can open a menu with two options (Settings, About).

In Settings there is only the option of File System, which shows:

    SD Card URL:
    null
    EBooks URL:
    null
    System property:
    without

    After listing root:

    Root 1: root/
    Root 2: music/
    Root 3: photo/
    Root 4: video/
    Root 5: graphics/
    Root 6: recordings/
    Root 7: tones/

None of those folders actually exist on my PSP in that manner (sure, there's music and video, but only the ones from the usual PSP Firmware).

I surfed the net and apart from the questions about this issue, I only found something in Korean, which via Firefox Translate tells about the app (MobiPocket Reader) can either not find the book, or the book is "read only", or there is a defect with the book. I checked the .mobi file, and it seems functional and not write-protected. I then copied the ebook into pretty much every folder I could think of to make it possible for the app to find the book, but it's still the same thing.

Maybe someone here has an idea? I'd really appreciate the help.
